Do you have flutes available for immediate sale?

We always have "demo" instruments available for trial. Occasionally, "demo" flutes are  available for sale, but very few per year. To find out what demo instruments are available for trial or  if any are for sale the moment, please contact us.

Do you have headjoints available for immediate sale?

We always offer a wide variety of headjoints in the shop which are available for immediate purchase. If you are interested in purchasing a headjoint, please contact us and we can assist you with further information.

What’s the Nagahara headjoint exchange policy?

We will  exchange headjoints free of  cost within the first six months  of ownership when a complete flute is purchased from us. Single headjoint purchases can be exchanged with a restocking fee of up to 15% of the initial cost  of the headjoint when purchased and also only within the fist six months of ownership.

Is the Galway locking crown standard with all Nagahara headjoints?

The standard weight locking crown is now standard on all headjoints with a light base. You may upgrade to a heavier weight locking crown base at an additional cost. For more information, please see Galway Locking Crown page.

Would the locking crown fit in any headjoint or only Nagahara headjoints?

Although we can not guarantee a perfect fit without adjustments, the locking crowns are made to be universal, meaning they fit any headjoint. We offer both the standard size, which fits most maker’s headjoints, and the metric size for Japanese made flutes.

How long is your waiting list?

Currently we have an approximate waiting time of 10 months for all flute orders.
